I am noticing some difference in the ringing now that I am consistently taking 3 g per day. I have not noticed hearing improvement though. The ringing has not stopped but seems to be changing. Gets low in one ear etc. Not much else to say right now. I am going to stay in 3G… Read More »
I am now taking 3G taurine per day. 1.5 g twice per day. More to come. Also meditating again. This is the brand I take. I will cure myself.
I have read studies about taurine testing in mice or rats. The dose that seemed to have an affect seems high. I believe it was about 290mg per kg. That seems high to me based on my weight. I am going to try 1.5 mg twice per day. I also read though the lower levels… Read More »
I lost one hearing aid yesterday so I wore one hearing aid all day. What I noticed was it seemed easier to hear. Less background noise. I did find my lost one thanks to my son. It was outside.

I have been taking 1 g of taurine every day. I sometimes take 2 g. I have not noticed an improvement in my tinnitus. My hearing does not seem to be any better and sometimes I wonder if it is worse. Today I am trying to see if acupuncture will help my tinnitus. It is called auriculotherapy. Here you can see the beads applied to key points. I will cure myself. Update. I did not notice any effect from the acupuncture beads in my ear.

This morning I woke up and my tinnitus was low. Hmmmm. This has happened before. What causes reduced stimulation in the brain where the tinnitus is occurring that may be contributing to the lower volume? Something is going on. No kidding? Yes no kidding.
I am reading about studies addressing potassium channels. For me it is important to understand the mechanism. I am going to investigate this further with care. Never surrender. I will cure my tinnitus.
